The design may look almost invisible, pale blue or green.

01 · Application
Apply it right the first time.
A smooth result comes from full contact: clean skin, a still transfer and even moisture across the entire backing.
-
01Prep
Prep the skin
Clean contact gives the tattoo its sharpest transfer.
- Shave visible hair 24 hours beforehand.
- Wash the placement area with soap and water.
- Remove lotion, oil and makeup; pat completely dry.
-
02Place
Peel and place
Plan the direction before the sheet touches your skin.
- Check the position and orientation in a mirror.
- Remove the clear film without touching the design.
- Place design-side down once; smooth from the centre out.
-
03Press
Wet and press
Every part of the paper backing must become evenly damp.
- Cover the entire backing with a damp cloth or sponge.
- Press firmly across the full design for 30 seconds.
- Keep the sheet completely still; do not lift an edge.
-
04Reveal
Reveal and wait
The first visible mark is not the tattoo's final colour.
- Lift one corner slowly and peel in one direction.
- Let the tattoo air-dry without touching the area.
- Protect it from water and rubbing during the first hours.
The ideal first day
Give the colour a calm start.
Choose a moment when you can keep the area clean, dry and free from rubbing while the stain begins to develop.
- BeforePlan the placement
Avoid irritated skin, fresh shaving, joints and anything that will rub immediately afterwards.
- ApplicationOne clean attempt
Place once, saturate the whole backing and hold it completely still.
- First hoursHands off
Let it dry. Avoid washing, lotion, tight clothing, exercise and skin-to-skin transfer.
- Next daySee the real result
The initial pale mark develops towards its deeper blue-black finish over approximately 24 hours.
02 · Development
Light now. Deep blue-black tomorrow.
The first reveal is not the final colour. TryInk’s jagua-based, plant-derived stain develops gradually over approximately 24 hours.
Keep the area dry and avoid rubbing, tight clothing and skin-to-skin transfer.
The stain settles into its deeper, tattoo-like blue-black colour.
It softens gradually as the outer layer of skin renews.

03 · Aftercare
Protect the development. Then wear it normally.
Water is not the only thing that shortens wear. Repeated friction, exfoliation, oils and long hot soaking all speed the fade.
- ✓ Keep the area dry.
- ✓ Wear loose clothing over it.
- ✓ Avoid rubbing or skin-to-skin contact.
- × Skip swimming, sauna and intense sweat.
- × Do not apply lotion or oil yet.
- ✓ Shower normally and pat dry.
- ✓ Use gentle, non-exfoliating care.
- ✓ Reduce rubbing from straps and tight cuffs.
- × Avoid scrubs, peels and frequent shaving.
- × Limit long baths, chlorine and hot soaking.
Reality check: “Up to two weeks” is a maximum, not a promise for every placement. Skin type, routine and body area change the result.
04 · Placement
Choose for the look—and the wear.
Flatter, lower-friction areas usually transfer more evenly and hold their strongest appearance longer. Curves and joints need extra care during application.
Open the size guide →Calmer areas
Less washing and rubbing generally means a slower fade.
High-action areas
Frequent washing, bending, footwear and friction speed skin renewal.
05 · Troubleshooting
If it looks wrong, check this first.
Most first-day concerns are either normal development or a contact issue during transfer.
The first reveal can be very pale or blue-green. Judge the colour tomorrow, not immediately.
A dry edge, oily skin, hair or uneven pressure can stop part of the design transferring.
Hold the design still and apply once. Sliding or trying to place it again can create a shadow.
Hands, joints, tight clothing, scrubbing, soaking and exfoliating all shorten wear.
06 · Skin & safety
Good results never come before skin comfort.
Use the tattoo only as directed and read the information supplied with the exact product before applying it.
- 01
Patch test when appropriate. If your skin is sensitive or allergy-prone, test a small area first and wait before a full application.
- 02
Use on intact external skin only. Do not apply over cuts, rash, irritation, sunburn or freshly shaved skin, or near eyes, lips and intimate areas.
- 03
Stop if your skin reacts. Rinse the area and discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs. Seek medical advice if symptoms are significant or persist.
- 04
Packaging details take priority. Follow the printed ingredient list, warnings, age guidance and responsible-person information for your batch.
This guide supports the instructions supplied with your TryInk tattoo; it does not replace the exact ingredient and warning information on the pack.

The useful questions.
No myths. No complicated ritual. Just what helps you get a better result.
Why is the tattoo so light after I peel the paper?+
That is expected. The stain starts pale and develops into a deeper blue-black colour over approximately 24 hours.
Can I shower after applying it?+
Keep the area dry while the colour develops. Once developed, normal short showers are fine; pat dry and avoid scrubbing or long hot soaking if you want it to last longer.
How long will my TryInk tattoo last?+
Up to two weeks. The exact wear time depends on placement, skin type, friction, washing and skincare.
Can I remove it immediately?+
Not like a surface sticker: the colour sits in the outer layer of skin and fades as that skin renews. Gentle exfoliation after development may speed the fade, but avoid harsh scrubbing or irritating the area.
Can I apply another tattoo over the same place?+
For the cleanest result, wait until the previous design has faded and the skin is calm, intact and free from irritation.
